The Sigma approach addresses the underlying causes of variations that lead to poor performance. The methodology facilitates in reduction of 'rejects' and in 'rework' leading to a healthier bottom lineSix Sigma methodologies are now deployed in all business practices and mostly in all functional realities. Many organizations in the IT, Non – IT, Financial Services, Banking, Educational and other sectors are set to deploy business improvement methodologies using the art of Six Sigma to deliver measurable cost, processes, quality and time based improvements. The ultimate objective is to satisfy the “Customer’s Cry” or “Delight the Customer”.

Six Sigma certifications at various levels are becoming more popular these days with the increasing requirement of project execution in almost every industry. Therefore, the role of a certified Six Sigma candidate/executive/manager has become all the more important. A Six Sigma certified individual tends to perform better at work place. On the other hand, a Six Sigma certified individual’s probability of “employability” in the market place would certainly have a cutting edge over another candidate in a competitive situation.
