#Day29 NaPoWriMo Self-Love is the greater love?

Y for Yes...Yes for S!

Yes.  I will love. Love everyone who shows me love

Just like the gentle summer breeze

Yes...I will make you feel important. I don’t care if you

make me priority or no.  I don’t need to know

Yes...I will not make you feel lone.  Never when I can still breathe

Even when you make me struggle in loneliness and insane

Yes...I will smile at myself in the mirror.  Even though you no

longer call me beautiful.  For the love you gave me is good enough

Yes.  I feel loved.  Not because of messages from random men pouring on

But because you gave it all. The smell, the sounds and the love

Yes...I feel like a woman.  I will dress up in the brightest blue saree

drape myself in the jasmines I adore.  Even if you are not ever around

Yes.  I will remain old school type.  Writing letters that I no longer send

The poems I no longer share.  Scribbling the pages of my dairy in silence

Yes...I will still be awake all night.  Feeling you next to me, soothing me

The forehead pampering by your kindest hands and I feel the tears all dried up

Yes...I sit in silent meditation.  Even when you no longer pray along

I will sing the songs of the Universe that we once shared

Yes...I will not be emotional.  For you never liked me cry or not smile

I know for sure I never will have you again.  Yet I will smile. 

Yes.   I will remember to show up with every new sunrise

I would have cried my heart out the whole night.  Yet I will arise

Yes.  I know you left for the reasons you better know.  The way of Liberation

I will never hinder your progress.  Despite pain gliding down my spine

Yes.  I  know what love is.   In body, in mind and in the soul

I will never call it an illusion.  A Moment of truth.  A Memory to live

Yes.   I will not write any more words. Will close my eyes

I know you are there.  In my thoughts. In my deeds and in my life

Once Loved, can never be the love of the Past!

So, love yourself.   The only love is that of self-reflection!

#Day28 NaPoWriMo Guru’s who guides me everyday- Glory to the Masters of all times

Appa-Amma, Adishankar Advaitam, Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga,  Ayyappa ,  Arunodayam…the spiritual journey with the great Masters!

Today, I am, what I am, for I am made up of all the teachings from the Greatest Masters of all times and those Masters who touched my life at various stages.

This is a small tribute today as my blog touches its 800th Post and my Namaskaramas and Pranams to the greatest of Guru Parampara that beholds the values that drive my existence

Gurubhoyo Namaha

Innocent was my thoughts

ignorant was my attitude

till I started the search for truth

raising above sublime and weird

towards an undefined liberation for sure

Continuously seeing life and death

and all that this life can bequeath

wondering the cosmic miracles around

galaxy of stars, sun and the moon

the forests, the flowers, the rivers

the thoughts, the emotions, the relations

Every dawn is a new beginning with hopes

Thanks to my Gurus who show me lights

Been my ladder to reach the goals of life

building the path to take righteous walk

A savior boat amidst the storms of life

transforming the thoughts into reality 

My first Guru had been my father,

teaching to smile ever, saying God will take care

My second teacher had been my mother

showing that devotion is not escaping responsibilities

My biggest inspiration was my grandmother

who showed inner strength to survive and lead

My teachers at all stages who lead us

and Guru's and Masters who touched us

from the visible to the invisible

Aurobindo teachings, Advaitha Vedanta

conversations within and with my guru

from the material to the divine

from the ephemeral to the eternal

Thanks to each Guru who touched my life

to the Guru who touched the soul

There can be no better way to pay gratitude

than surrendering to self in humbleness and peace

Wishing the World finds a healing

Health that is the primary wealth

and bliss of mind, body and soul!

#Day27 NaPoWriMo Changing or Becoming? Where am I evolving?

From the cocoon to the caterpillar

I crawl my path with stages of life

Silently, forgoing the comfort zones

Surviving through the pain and suffering

Happily coming through the subtle changes

Only because decided to welcome transition

Did not crib about the bodily changes

Or the colours of life falling off

The shades of thoughts wavering in life

That’s when the truth of life emerges

With the purpose of our own life

Why we are born, what we are to do

Irrespective of how this journey may end

The life lived matters with people we touched

The only thing that we can spread

Is the care and compassion and love

With unlimited horizons to spread!

That’s when the change happens

Of what we are supposed to be ‘Becoming!’

#Day26 NaPoWriMo Z - Zen State of Mind

Oh, The Eternal Cosmos,  Bless me with the Zen

The state of mind with no- mindedness

A mind that is calm and vacuum and plain

With no thoughts or wavering emotions to drain

Letting me to connect within and with the Universe

Let me not thinking about thinking anything

Or the mind running behind the train of thoughts

Letting me be peaceful, relaxed and eternally calm

One thing at a time, worth a dime

Making me do things slowly and deliberately

Doing less, but doing completely

Taking space between every sublime thought

Or above all, being thoughtless

Rituals that are not hard on, but discipline

Keeping time quietly for everything to do

Making possibilities more of every moment lived

Taking moments of silence and in deep meditation

Smiling at oneself every day, and passing it on

Serving others, cleaning things and the mind

Only thinking what is necessary

Living simply, leading the regular routine life

With no qualms or excitement that spoils the zen

#Day25 NaPoWriMo Y- Yashodhara, the Invincible Spiritual Seeker

Here remained a woman of strength

Buddha's non-impediment to spiritual journey

What the great Lord attained by meditation

following deeper practices and processes

Yashodhara acquired it by her sheer oneness

the thoughts of devotion, understanding and love

She did not have a Bodhi tree or could leave

the Palace, her offspring or her responsibilities

Yet, she was like a soft summer breeze

slowly going down deep as the ocean’s depths

without abandoning anything, yet towards her own path

of spiritual quest and enlightenment far solid

She was not just an epitome of beauty and compassion

But Buddha's real queen, the bearer of the glory

who did not succumb to Buddha's leaving her in pain

but led her life with valour and courage

She did not obstruct his quest for enlighten

but silently initiated into him from the palatial walls

Luxuries no longer matter, nor did the fancy meals

matching his dispassion for life living his lifestyle

Enlightenment can happen to anyone

not just to those give up on the worldly pleasure

Sincere desire and open mind to allow the universe

to whisper the infinity without universal differentiates

True love knows no boundaries

just like the Yasodhara’s love for Buddha

she was aware of her life after marriage

as she heard the heavenly messengers’ words

Living his simple life, choices she made

life of a virangna...facing life with courage

still doing her duties and responsibilities

She was in her own penance supporting Buddha

A real woman warrior she was, a great valour

who stood for Palace duties and parental needs

Kept her quest of learning about life

doing things that a father would do

Kindling respect and love in her child

to adorably follow his father's footsteps

Fulfilling her spiritual destiny

within the cycle of birth and death

Silently but compassionately led

the life above all hardships and obstacles

First of his great disciples attaining powers

Yashodhara. amidst the palace walls

led the life of a Bhikkhuni...a character

that not many women can adore and inspire

Wise and sensible choices proving enlighten

can come to anyone who has a quest for it

A purpose truly fulfilled of her existence

Not hindering Buddha's progress or liberation

But silently letting him do what he was intended to

a protagonist who always remain an unsung hero

#Day24 NaPoWriMo X - Mystifying friend X -For All or For Nothing!

 

X symbolized the essence of evil

signifying death, pain and skull

Representing virtues and eternal life

designed to beguile us with connotations

we attempt to resist using this poor alphabet

X was abundant during my math classes

capturing its place in genetics to sex

spirituality as the humble X engages it

From unknown mysteries to multitudinous

our friend X remained variable in Algebra

the basic horizontal x-axis in our graphs

Branding to advertising for unidentified

some societies emphasizing its exclusivity

linguistics calling X a phonetic chameleon

talking about diversity and impeding confusion

X marking places, players, generations, crime scenes

Daring, danger, death and undefeated

be it for army, sports, signifying ends

X remained the most nihilistic of letters

symbolizing from cross or the beginning of swastik

X-wise creating positive or good, negative, bad or evil

did not just remain the occult symbol of Satan

or signifies an error or cancellations

communicating conflict or contrariness, betrayals

X provokingly remained to reflect sex and love too

symbolizing explicit or graphical porn content

it also was used to when we could not write few words

Poor X remained a sprightful miscellaneous symbology

where are the sex chromosomes seeding life without XX

X representing crossing hearts and hopes to die

anything that extra...tagged with our friend X

from experiments to diagnostics, Sun God to Ecstasy

represented mysterious, unsolved, paranormal events

sometimes signifies quality in the world of entertainment

Thus, our friend X became for all or nothing

and thus, did not remain just another letter in life

intriguing, humble yet powerful, special and esoteric

X remains what it symbolizes in the world over
